Shop Built Stairs

A beautiful cabinet or piece of furniture is made in the craftsman’s shop and brought into the space as a finished product. This is how we look at stairs. A site built cabinet or stair will have lots of nail holes and filler because the onsite carpenter is limited in tools and resources. We hide our fasteners behind the stair so you don’t see them. Shop built stairs stay tight and don’t squeak. Using a shop built stair is a measure of high quality as is using a cabinet maker with a shop.
